4TH OF JULY

Me and my family decided to do a 4th of July themed barbecue today. I know we live in Finland and it’s not very common to celebrate it here. But we have celebrated it many times in the US before and we just decided to celebrate it here as well for fun. For food we had some burgers and fries. And for dessert we ate this delicious berry layer cake. 

My 4th of July outfit

For my outfit I chose simple jeans and a top look. I wore this red floral top with some blue jeans. I also put my hair up with this white scrunchie because it was so hot outside. I tried to keep the color scheme of my outfit in the 4th of July theme.

Berry layer cake

We had this super simple berry layer cake for dessert. We had pre-made cake layers and we made the frosting ourselves. Then we assembled the cake. We put it together layer by layer adding the cake layers and then the frosting with the berries. For the 4th of July theme any red or blue berries/ fruit will work. It was so easy to make and super delicious!
