Looking for business casual outfit ideas? Don’t worry I got you covered. I know some of you guys work in an office setting that requires you to wear business casual outfits. I will be applying for internships soon so I am starting to collect my business casual capsule wardrobe, pieces that I can wear over and over again and style many ways. I got a lot of new basics and I wanted to share with you guys what I got.
Keep in mind that the term “business casual” is used very loosely and every work setting has a different dress code. With that being said, some of these outfits may need to be tweaked a bit to work for you. Regardless, I did my best to share a wide variety of looks that are trendy yet work appropriate. Enjoy!
BLAZER & JEANS
I don’t think blazers will ever go out of style. Plus, they are a super easy way to dress up a pair of jeans. These jeans are from Express, definitely one of my fav places to get jeans. I recommend sizing up for a little extra wiggle room if you choose to grab this blazer—I’ve got it layered over a black t-shirt and it fits just right. I paired these classic mules that are comfy and match my outfit perfectly,

BOTTON UP TOP & PANTS
I’m convinced that a good button-up top and pants are the most classic outfit combination in the book. Both of these pieces Ive had for a couple years now and I see myself wearing them over and over again. This white top is one of the most versatile pieces you can own in your business casual wardrobe. I got this top from H&M years ago, it’s a great place to find some affordable basics. Also beige pants never go out of style so I recommend investing in a good pair and they will last you for years to come!

LITTLE BLACK DRESS & BAG
You can never go wrong with a little black dress. This dress shirt dress is a perfect option for those warm early fall days. I found this one for super cheap on SheIn and I love the length of it which makes it more appropriate for an office setting. I paired it with this black tote bag which is also a new addition to my business casual wardrobe. It fits my laptop, water bottle and other essentials. Definitely a must have!
.
VEST & LOAFERS
This tweed vest is a fun way to add some layers to your business casual outfits in the early fall days. I just paired it with a basic t-shirt and some beige pants. The vest makes the whole outfit, super cute and unique. I found it this one on SheIn, a great place to find affordable and unique pieces. I paired the outfit with some staple mules. These shoes will take your outfit to the next level + they are so comfy which is a plus!
.
BASIC T-SHIRT & MIDI SKIRT
Midi skirts are definitely my favorite way to create a business casual outfit. You can do so much with it. You can pair it with different short sleeves for the early fall days and then later on with sweaters and long sleeves. Midi skirt and t-shirt outfit is also one of the most comfy outfits I can think of to wear to an office. Also, it is an easy way to add some fun patterns and colors with your skirt to your business casual wardrobe!
