The latest fashion trend isn’t a seasonal color or a must-have item: It’s sustainable fashion and ethical clothing. The fashion industry is the second largest polluter in the world, so brands and consumers have taken a much-needed interest in improving these issues.
So you might ask what is an ethical brand? It is basically a brand that makes sure it positively impacting people, the planet, and animals.
Reformation
Reformation is a great sustainable brand. They focus on climate action and environmental justice. Their four main focus areas are People, Product, Planet and Progress. In 2020, Reformation Santa Monica, was awarded a Sustainability Quality Award (SQA) of Excellence for Social Responsibility.
Reformation also requires employees to participate in periodic training to ensure understanding of their sustainability goals and initiatives and guide all of them to make more sustainable decisions within their job.

This is the first post of of a new series on my blog called “sustainable brand to support”. In todays post Im sharing fall clothing options from Reformation. Be sure to tag along to see which brand I choose next time!
Black dress
This first Item I want to share is a long black dress that has these gorgeous flower pattern. Its perfect for fall! It keeps you warm in the morning because it has long sleeves and long hem but it has a slit down the side so its also very airy. I would pair this with some black boots and a burgundy shoulder bag.

Green dress
Second Item from Reformation is this cute white and green long dress. I love this pattern! This one is also perfect for those cold mornings and warm afternoons. This dress also has a nice slit down the side. I would pair this dress with brown boots or mules and a brown shoulder bag.

Checkered coat
The next item is this long checkered coat. Everyone needs a long coat for the fall time to keep you warm. I love long coats like this. They are so easy to pair with dresses or jeans and a shirt. I would pair this jacket with a white knit dress and brown bag and boots.

This cashmere dress looks amazingly soft! Something like this is perfect for the transitioning weather that we have in the fall time. It’s cold in the mornings and this would be a good basic to have and to keep you warm.

I have heard so many great things about reformation jeans. These ones are high rise straight leg jeans. Very trendy and cute! These are perfect for the fall time, they keep you warm and they go with everything.

Enjoyed the clothing with a nod to classic design. But, is cashmere really ethical or sustainable? Humane animal treatment is a real issue for wool. However, maybe you know more about this than I do – would love to hear more about this company.
