I love the winter time here in Cleveland because I get to add cute coats to all my outfits. Who doesn’t love matching their coats to their outfits? When it is colder in the morning, I love throwing on a coat that matches my outfit to add a layer of warmth. It’s good to own basic everyday coats but it’s so much fun to get to wear those trendy statement coats. For me this winter that statement coat has been this beautiful multicolor checkered coat. I absolutely love it! So, in today’s blog post I want to share some outfit ideas on how to style a statement coat. Let’s get right on to it!
WINE RED DRESS
One of the easiest ways to style a coat is to pair it with a dress. I love this wine red dress. It is perfect for any kind of winter event like a dinner date. I paired my dress with some nude booties and light pink bag to match the colors in the coat. Such a statement outfit!
ALL PINK OUTFIT
This new outfit idea is an all pink outfit. You can never go wrong with an all pink outfit. I love how the pink sweater dress brings out all the colors in the coat. These tall pink boots are to die for, comfy, cute and warm!
PINK AND BROWN
One of my favorite things to pair together is light pink and chocolate brown. I think these colors complement each other so well. I love how the jacket has all the matching colors in it as well. The sweater and skirt are both this nice knitted sweater material to keep you warm on these colder months.
MIXED PATTERS
Last but not least I wanted to share a mixed pattern outfit. I absolutely love the checkered coat paired with this same color palette striped sweater. I also wore these matching leather pants which are comfy and warm. I love the different patterns and textures mixed in this outfit. Never a bad idea to mix and match different clothing pieces together and have some fun with it!
